CMG invests in new ultra-bright projector hire equipment with the arrival of Barco RLM-W8

Our first two Barco RLM-W8 Ultra-Bright Projectors have arrived onsite this week, bringing new possibilities to Wollongong and the wider Illawarra region.

The new Barco RLM-W8 Projectors feature 8000 ANSI Lumens for crisp, bright and super high quality projection – even in open locations with glare or uncontrollable ambient light.

A ‘Lumen’ is the derived unit of measurement of visible light emitted from a single source, with standard small scale projectors usually equivalent to approximately 1500 to 2500 Lumens. This may be suitable for small screens with limited to no ambient light, however for large screens, set backdrops, interactive displays or presentations and large scale visual effects the Barco RLM-W8 Projectors are ideal with up to four times the visible brightness of a standard projector.

The advanced 3-Chip Digital Light Processing (‘DLP’) Colour Quality ensures bright, vibrant and completely saturated colours. Further enhanced through precise contrast, swift and creative stacking options, horizontal and vertical edge blending as well as built-in warping capabilities for unusually shaped, textured and curved surfaces. The Barco RLM-W8 is the perfectly versatile choice for mid to large-size venues where audience perception and understanding is paramount.

Barco’s very own proprietary Barcolink Technology guarantees quick signal distribution and minimal latency between projectors and processors. The RLM-W8 boasts low energy consumption, minimal noise, remote control and an impressive Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array with a real Display Resolution of 1920 x 1200 or 2,304,000 pixels and the option of a 16:10 Screen Aspect Ratio.
