Clay Paky Mythos beams in Wollongong with new arrival CMG Audio Visual
Further adding to the impressive list of world-class AV equipment, CMG Audio Visual is now the proud owner of eight brand new Mythos - Clay Paky’s most advanced hybrid light ever.
Featuring three distinct and powerful operating modes, the latest addition to the Clay Paky “Projectors” line-up can admirably function as an ultra-bright 470watt spotlight, an extraordinary beam-light as well as perform an exciting range of gobos which are enhanced through a completely redesigned indexed visual disc.
The ability to perform all modes to the full extent with smooth transitions and superior brightness is Mythos strength, making it an extremely versatile and valuable addition to the existing CMG Audio Visual lighting repertoire.
Proudly boasting the largest inventory of moving lights in the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands, Mythos enables new opportunities in the region that would not otherwise be achievable nor cost-effective.
Mythos beam-light is sharp, with perfectly designed edges and an optical unit adept to minimising the beam angle to just 2.5 degrees. The diameter of the front lens is a large 160mm, producing a beam that can be seen from afar and reach a multitude of lengths.
Creativity is at the forefront of Mythos design, with 18 fixed metal gobos and 6 rotating dichroic gobos with high-definition graphics, generating three-dimensional beams that dynamically change shape. In addition, the inclusion of the aforementioned special effect disc can be utilised to create and animate the projected patterns – perfectly suited to large indoor exhibitions and outdoor festivals.
Only a year since its launch, Mythos is extremely energy efficient with its patented Italian-designed lamp. Small, light and powerful, the relative-size of the Mythos produces a surprisingly substantial beam, performing up to 3x brighter that an LED spotlight with the same energy consumption.
Already making an illustrious name for itself, Clay Paky’s Mythos has been awarded Product of the Year in the ‘Luminaire’ Category at the 2015 Live Design Awards.
