Humber Bar invests in Lightsky AquaBeam: New IP-rated fixtures set to light up the heart of Wollongong CBD
Wollongong is about to get the Hollywood treatment in the coming months with Humber Bar purchasing four AquaBeam effect lighting fixtures from CMG Audio Visual. The AquaBeams are becoming a notorious fixture in Wollongong, with 32 of them lighting up the Breakwater Lighthouse in Wollongong for the Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer teaser event recently.
The AquaBeams also made an appearance at Sydney’s massive Vivid Festival 2016, making Simon Aitken’s vision come to life in the centre of Martin Place as the ‘Geometrics’ Light Show.
The installations produce a stunning beam of light that pierces the night sky and instantly captures the attention of everyone in the vicinity.
Humber Bar plans to use the AquaBeams for the new late-night lounge bar Heyday which is opening soon in the heart of Wollongong on Crown Street. The new bar takes on the atmosphere of the late 1940s Hollywood parties and glamour, so it is only appropriate that the AquaBeams help another vision come to life, because what is Hollywood without the bright lights?
