Tumbalong Lights & Geometrics: Public Lighting Activations at Vivid Sydney

Tumbalong Lights: Darling Harbour

Following the highly successful ‘Geometrics’ lighting activation in Martin Place, CMG Audio Visual once again partnered with renowned artist Simon Aitken (Australia) to deliver ‘Tumbalong Lights’.

Highlighting the beauty of open space, light and the night sky, the new ‘Tumbalong Lights’ display features 32 ultra-bright beam lighting fixtures that cut across the sky to create diverse and interesting patterns and designs. 

Located in Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour, ‘Tumbalong Lights’ once again was a standout of the 2017 Vivid Festival of Light event, and one of the most instagrammed sections of the Destination NSW event.

Geometrics: Martin Place

Showcasing the beauty of line, CMG Audio Visual is proud to have supplied a series of IP-rated ultra-bright outdoor lighting fixtures to Simon Aitken's 'Geometrics' design at the Vivid Festival of Light.

Arguably one of the most interesting and popular lighting activation's at Destination NSW's 2016 edition of Vivid Sydney, the diverse geometric patterns created intrigued audiences and passersby daily. Suspended four metres in the air from a circular truss, the lighting fixtures certainly delivered the trademark Vivid 'WOW-factor'.
